there are hundreds of pictures on devientART on the new design, in fact there is a youtube video of when the staff of Archie revealed the design last year's new york comic con.

I don't know, Archie haven't released that, but my guess is that after the world collide story arc passes, sally get's derobotized and changes her clothes.

No, her new look is BECAUSE she was roboticized. Not only that but also because her body was filled with weapons. For all we know her face look different because her original head was cut off and replaced with a new one! And this is supposed to be "kids stuff". That is the real issue here, and if more people knew that far fewer would support the new design.
