well, you need to practice a lot over the years, but once you get the hang of it and learning techniques and trying stuff on your own it's all good, it's like riding a bike, you get on it, you fall, get up, try again and then get it right
you need a lot of patience and a lot of money XD

I love gk building, I use to find it tedious, at least the prep stage, now I love every minute of the whole thing ^_^

the way you improve depends on how much you are willing to dedicate time to it, after all, this is one slow hobby, you need to wait until pain dries, putty etc to advance.

lol i kind of figured it would take time to get better but im more worried about blowing money on GK and i do a horrible paint job how do u do the details such as the face done? by hand? and what r epoxy n putty used for?

yeah, the eyes and her face details are hand painted, there is a variety of materials you can use, so many I can't list them all, BUT, I did make a video series related to anime GK's and there's one on tools to start, check it out, I'm pretty sure it will clear a lot of questions ^_^ [link]
