Description Photo shoot of clinic dog for upcoming adoption drive, shared with permission
Breed: Jack Russell Terrier mix
Color: red clear sable and white piebald
Hobbies: trying to pee like a male

Another photo reference to supplement my dog color/pattern research. This female has some black whiskers, so you can tell she is a sable and not a recessive red. I would call this pattern piebald, but it is a close call and you could easily call it extreme piebald as well. Not sure if it’s better to go by the number of patches on the body or how big they are. We have another JRT mix that is definitely extreme piebald, with some color on his head and a small patch on his back. Note that the color recedes toward the back as white spotting causes less to be expressed. A piebald dog won’t have a random solid colored leg.

I don’t know much about chicken behavior, but that’s funny.
