Overall

Vision

Originality

Technique

Impact

First of all, I can only assume that you did the Blood Dragon design on the front of the chest by hand. If so, you have amazing technique with your hands and its incredibly amazing that you are able to draw that well with paint. It's literally almost identical than the one in Mass Effect 2 and it is impactful to see such beauty created into RL. Although I must admit that yours is the first one I seen so maybe that standing of mine won't carry much weight. Although one of the bad things about the area that is call covered in red is that I can see some of the silver shadings of the armor through it. I suggest you use paint that comes with Primer, that way it has a double coating of paint and primer and the colors behind the red won't show.

Some of the scars look VERY realistic, especially the one in the far left at your right temple. You can tell from the angle of looking straight at the picture that the skin looks literally broken. Even the one in the mid-center of your left cheek. Some of the scars though don't look as impressive and does look like they were colored in; I think the light position ruined the forehead one since you can tell by the shine that it is color and not semi-realistic scaring like the one at your right temple of middle cheek scar.

I like the choice of eye Iris. Coincidentally that's the EXACT color design I have in my Main Character in Dragon Age Inquisition. Got no problems in the eye department.

There's a thing called "Too Much Lightning" and I think there is too much here. Been looking at the picture for a while and I didn't notice that the rifle had the N7 Logo from being excessively bright. It also makes the armor look bright red instead of a Red to Crimson Red which is how the color shading looks in the game. Try to play around with it when you can.

Personally, the Omni Tool really wasn't necessary. Just a goofy addition to have something there for having it for presentations sake. Not really much point while posing with the Blood Armor.

There is something that is kinda bothering me and it concerns the "Mesh" and "Ridging" design of the armor. When you see the bottom of the picture, the mesh and ridging looks amazing bur when you look at the left hand[even if its defocused, I can tell] and the left side of the crimson armor, it doesn't look right; although the red one is kinda to be expected since you would need to push the color deeper into the design and it would be too time consuming, hence why it looks as if the color is covering most of it since it dried on top.

The armor does look like it needs a few fixes here and there with seams and color fixing but overall, its an amazing piece and I like it alot. Good Job Leon!!!

Thank you so much for your time to write this Critique! I really loved it and I like seeing that attention on details from artists\ people like you! Β

So thank you again also for your compliments! Β Really! Β

P.S.
Now, I just wanted to add few things just to clarify some little things! Β
Normally people should not be able to see the armour with this ammount of details because if you zoom in here, you can really see everything. I am saying it because from normal distance some little things cannot be seen.Β

I agree for the OmniTool! The colour is just the way I wanted to do it, like a 'real blood' effect and some scratches are made on purpose for the damaged effect! The dragon has been made by my own hands with some ispiration in one night of work. You can see my work in progress in my Cosplay page on Facebook : www.facebook.com/LeonChiroCosplayArt

Wish you the best! Thank you! Β

Dammit...I forgot about the battle damage. I didn't it as it does more effect. I was referring to some seams that aren't fully closed or pressed enough. If it was to mimic real blood, then I guess I understand since blood isn't supposed to fully cover the back colors. But overall like I said, its a good work. Just play with lighting a bit.
