Description
This was just a quick design choice for a beast that could be in the world of Monster Hunter. His name is the "Gordoquail".

I chose the name Gordo for his fat belly and slouching, hunch stance as he moves about the jungles. Quail derives from a small bird with a fancy curled crest above it's head, and the Gordoquail has a fancy crest of his own.

I've been playing MH3 again a lot lately since the FINAL FANTASY Online servers went down, due to the tsunami after effects in Japan. So I conjured up a Great Sword that could be crafted from the fat bastards carves after defeating him.

He also has an ability to spit a sleeping toxin onto his prey (similar to the Great Baggi dinosaur), so he can gobble them up in their sleep and slowly digest them when they awaken.

He also has a devastating body slam when your are unfortunate enough to fall under his flab. His tail can be cut off for a carve, and his sleep sac and crest can be damaged.
