I really recommend you sell these to a toy company to be made into toys.

Thanks  , but I don't know of toy companies. Maybe you have the example of the company?

Another option is selling it yourself as a 3DPrint on www.shapeways.com and having it pass child safety standards.

For a Destroyer thats not enough guns.

A destroyer is the smallest multi-purposes ship, as opposed to the heavier cruisers or specialized frigates.

In that sense, it has enough guns.

nah.... i still think it should have more guns

Here's my question for you, good sir. I've been trying to design different sci fi space ships, but I always feel like what I come up with is just too derivative. It always look too much like Star Wars or Star Trek or Halo or Mass Effect.  How do you set your designs apart? I hope that makes sense.

This looks like a mix between Homeworld and Starship Troopers.
So looking a bit like other franchises is probably not a bad thing.

I begin to draw the silhouette or the simply spot.
And I look at reference only at the last stage of drawing.
When you begin to draw it is better do not look at the other pictures.
Although the everyone has a different way

I think under the "Basic Sensors"

usoutlaw In reply to LeonovichDmitriy [2017-01-13 20:47:16 +0000 UTC]

thats what i though. i just wasn't sure if the ship was designed to have a relatively useless part look like the bridge. while the real bridge was nestled in the middle of the ship to protect it. sort of like a decoy. or like how some ships today have secondary bridges that can serve as back ups

LeonovichDmitriy In reply to usoutlaw [2017-01-13 20:56:13 +0000 UTC]

You're absolutely right! Maybe the "true bridge" located inside the ship...

usoutlaw In reply to LeonovichDmitriy [2017-01-14 01:08:22 +0000 UTC]

though if that was the case then they would rely on the sensors a bit more, and there should be some kind of nose cone to protect the advanced sensors.
