This is....amazing.....I really love it!
I hate what's happening to America, not just as an American Citizen but also as a freaking human being. I really do feel that third world countries need help and stuff, but right now we need to focus on OUR country and getting back on our feet. Helping others will, in the end, bring us down right now. It's depresent. And very real.

Putting the fandom aside, I think I understand what you mean. Looking at your work, this hit me hard on the irony. Poverty, graft and corruption.. it's just terrible. From where I came from, we're also in a battle with these economic issues.
It must've been hard for you to express this kind of opinion. I admire the courage that you take to do this.

It's not that wealthy don't care about the poor it's that they don't care about the poor Americans. Every time I hear about some rich person spending millions to build a school in some third world country it makes me want reach out and punch them in the face. Why don't they use that money to improve schools here? It disgust when Opera refused to do so because she didn't think the kids where thankful enough and only want sneakers and cellphones. It seems like things are just keep getting worse and worse. I really feel your pain.

I just discussed this with my mother the other day too.
That if we would stop spending money on other nations,
and spend it on ourselves, we could probably get back
on our feet. I can't believe the quantity of so many wealthy
Americans that don't care what comes of their nation or
their own people. Its disheartening.

Funny thing about that, I was actually reading a book about the French Revolution not to long ago. Before the revolts, there were actually laws that forbid peasants to earn more than the upper classes. Basically, they could only afford the bare minimum to live...
... Kinda reminds me of these uneven tax cuts going on around here. >>;;

I'm sorry to butt in and maybe sound like a jerk, but I felt like this was a rather insensitive comment. Alfred is a fictional character while thousands of people are suffering in poverty in this country. It's a little disrespectful to be talking as if an anime character is the one really suffering here. Please try to show a little more respect.
