Starring the same office lady from this picture by MamoruFumio: hotbloodedyukiteru.deviantart.…The life of an office lady in Japan is hard. Not only does she get paid less for being a woman, but she's also expected by Japanese society at large to quit as soon as she gets married. This doesn't stop her from trying her best and aiming to do her job flawlessly no matter the circumstances!
Today, for example, our responsible office lady continues to work diligently despite feeling this funny cold sensation on her foot. What puzzles her more about it is: why is she feeling cold in only one foot? But there's no time to think about little things like that! She'll figure it out after she's done with today's work.

Kanaga: *even though it's raining this morning, that doesn't stop a responsible and determined salarywoman from going to work. Her attendance record is perfect, she's made sure to always get to the office in time no matter what!* Alright! Let's go! n_n *she steps out of the apartment building she lives in, opens her umbrella and decidedly walks to work*

Kanaga: *while she's hastily walking there, her shoe comes off and her foot steps fully into a puddle* EEK!! DX *the sudden wet cold makes her look down and realize her foot is all wet. She lets out a cute annoyed groan and puffs one cheek* >:T *now she has a dilemma. Should she put her soaked foot back into the shoe and risk wetting the shoe's inside too? Or should she just pick it up and carry it while she walks on one bare foot?*

*I noticed Kanaga from a distance. I noticed that her left foot is bare. I then blush a little bit as I walked over to her to see if she needs help.*

Kanaga: *with no time to decide, she just picks up the shoe, deciding to carry it in her hand and put it on later when her foot is dry. Then, when she turns around, she almost bumps into you, letting out a brief, cute yelp* D: ...Sorry!

(Well, since she's carrying that shoe in her hand, meaning an extra thing to keep in mind, I was thinking maybe she'd be putting her shoe aside for a second to check her phone while she's sitting in the bus, then forgetting to pick the shoe back up and leaving it in the bus, impossible to recover once she gets down and the bus leaves

Kanaga: You must feel like a fish out of water here. Don't worry, everything will... *her cell phone rings inside her purse* Oh, excuse me. 'n_n *she leaves her shoe aside, freeing her hand to rummage through her purse and pick up the phone. She reads the new message, then puts the phone back into the purse, but forgets to grab her shoe again* I was saying that things will be alright if you just keep giving it your best.
