Thanks very much! It's actually a variation on an earlier work of mine, but I'm still pretty proud of it

This is nice. I like the depth you have created with the walls, the light and darkness

Roughly 20 hours of work on it, probably Thanks, my friend, I'm so glad you dig this one. I'm so happy with it I can hardly believe I created it.

Dammit... this made me want to play Final fantasy IX for some reason..
I love the perspective and lighting of the walls makes a nice pop

I have never played any of the Final Fantasies, but
I'll take it as a compliment... a mysterious compliment Thanks! If you count all the sittings, it's one of my
most time-consuming works It eats time for breakfast!

You're kidding me right?
Haha, it definitely was a compliment, mate. You say that about a lot of your work

Hehe I haven't played many videogames
Hehe well, this is technically the third version
of this one, so it's more true than ever here

Too high tech for you?
Well it was time well placed, mate. Definitely happy with the outcome

More or less. The videogame I like best
is Pac-Man.
I thought so. It gave me time to listen to all
those Bob Seger and REO Speedwagon tapes, as was
vitally important to do.

EchoplexSermon In reply to leothefox [2012-06-30 21:33:22 +0000 UTC]
Pac-Man is a damn classic. Period. That is an odd choice for art project music

Hells yeah! Apart from that I've played a couple
of NES games and little else. It's always worked for me. I art to Tom Petty,
The Supremes, Guns N' Roses, Foreigner, Journey, etc.

I grew up on Atari actually, for some reason my parents had one
moved to a Sega Genesis, to a Gamboy, to a Playstation, to a Playstation 2, to a 360... with a bunch in between... but my 360 is just a TV stand for me, I never touch the thing.
We couldn't be more far apart here I'm more of Nine Inch Nails, Tool, and Lamb of God arter, with an occasional hip-hop track in there.

leothefox In reply to EchoplexSermon [2012-07-02 07:35:38 +0000 UTC]
Hehe we didn't have any videogames in my house until I was like ten (1992)
and our first was Colico on which we played "Donkey Kong"
I like Nine Inch Nails as well, and a little Tool. Not familiar with Lamb of God.
No classic rock for you?

I'm sorry...
Nah, not really, except "The Doors", "The Beatles", and "The Stones"
π: 0 β©: 1
leothefox In reply to EchoplexSermon [2012-07-03 07:15:52 +0000 UTC]
I'm not. I much prefer movies
Well, I do love The Stones, especially between 1968 and 1973 I had a full-blown Beatles obsession when I was in middle school, so I'm a tad burnt out on them (except maybe for the 1965-66 stuff).

EchoplexSermon In reply to leothefox [2012-07-04 22:39:55 +0000 UTC]
I pick movies 9 times out of 10, but you haven't lived until you play one of the "Fallout" games, period.
I certainly couldn't listen to either of those bands on a daily basis, or I'd get burnt out as well, it's classic stuff, but not everyday jammin' stuff. I like to keep my music new and random. With no pop or country of course, and light on the rap/hip-hop.

leothefox In reply to EchoplexSermon [2012-07-05 01:37:59 +0000 UTC]
I don't think the music today includes any genuine
"pop", at least not in the original sense. I see
modern music as an unhealthy gumbo of multiple
genres thrown together. I really haven't heard
much new music that's been worth the listen.

EchoplexSermon In reply to leothefox [2012-07-06 04:13:04 +0000 UTC]
I like the "unhealthy" part that is definitely an accurate description of the music industry

Hehe I'm just a rocker from way back looking for the real sound.
If I have to kill all the Justin Biebers, Taylor Swifts, and Owl Cities
to get my way, so be it

Godda... I hate those artists... I hate that damn "Fireflies" song so damn much
I'm actually into classical and jazz quite a bit mainly because they lack annoying and horribly written lyrics.... like:
"And we'll hide out in the private rooms, With the latest dictionary and today's who's who, They'll get you anything with that evil smile
Everybody's got a drug dealer on speed dial
Hey hey I wanna be a rockstar"

Hehe of course I tend a little more to bluesy than jazzy, but then rock and metal are both children of blues.

EchoplexSermon In reply to leothefox [2012-07-06 04:56:51 +0000 UTC]
Hah, well those that I named are more blusey as well
That is very true, metal was mainly birthed through blues I dig me some Robert Johnson and Tom Waits too though
