...sometimesThis picture I created at work is inspired by photos I found of La Purisima mission in Lompoc, California, which is also my personal favorite among the California missions (we visited a lot when I was a kid growing up down in lovely Cali). It was established in 1787 and it's the only remaining example of a complete Spanish Mission complex. When in California, check it out! Β

Haha, you really do know your missions. Wow. I want to travel to historic sites like this more often. I live in Utah, so most of the ones around here are from pioneering. We might have a few pueblos down south somewhere.

Yes! We can also go to Gilgal park, which I visited just yesterday. It used to be a guy's backyard, and it's pretty small and it's just got a few sculptures. Unfortunately, before it became a park, a lot of the original sculptures were trashed and graffiti'd, I don't know why they didn't restore the sculptures, they just got rid of all of them. Bit of a shame really.
