Little kids are just asking questions, being young and curious, their little brains eager to grow and I'll hear the mother say something like "that's none of your business". I mean they can't even think to say something better like "I'll tell you when you're older".

Exactly. My aunt is horrible. She screams at the kids and says "stop talking! Why are you talking?" It shocks my mother and grandmother.
