Yeah, but also Wizards came to my mind.

Excellent interpretation of F.F. works, as for the series I read every one s a child.

Thank you very much! Nice! I started reading them when I was 17
and didn't get around to finishing until I was 32 Β

My Mother gave me, Have spacesuit will travel and my father gave me the J. Carter series to read as a child, and I became a huge sci-fi fan from those two authors.

Ah, so you got the whole spectrum there I got into
Burroughs when I heard that the Barsoom series was
the inspiration for "Flash Gordon", which I was already
obsessed with

As much as my mother and I never had a close relationship, I have more than once looked back and realized her wisdom, she would allow me to purchase any book I wanted, even if it was above my ability, but the next book I would read was her choice, and I had to explain it to her so there was no cheating. I hate them, but laterΒ learned to love all the classic works.

I was very unrestrained in my book purchases
too, but the truth is I didn't take to really reading them
until late. My mom tried to get me to read various things,
but the only ones I actually read on her suggestion were
Agatha Christie books. I love my mom but I still don't
trust her tastes ...but then we are both terribly
stubborn

Aggie did write a couple of dynamite books, but that was my Fathers area, true defective tails.

I do enjoy Christie, but my tastes run more
towards pulp. "The Big Four" was a lot of fun though
Ever read Mary Roberts Rinehart?

I never got past all the "Happy Endings", and standard formulaic endings and plot layouts. Way to predictable after you figured out the Butler did it.

I don't mind a formula piece as long as
they hang enough shiny baubles on it.

I'm on a pulp "masked heroes" kick right now, so it
gets deep into the wonderfully silly trope of people gaining
special abilities in "The Mysterious Orient" Β

Ouch !Β
I feel the same about the back leg, maybe too much shading on the top, it looks "shorter" than the original.Β

leothefox In reply to Nat-ti [2016-03-30 00:30:15 +0000 UTC]
Maybe so? I'll admit, it was sometimes hard translating the ink shading into painting Maybe this is why Frazetta himself always preferred drawing to painting? Β
