It's violent out today!Work was nice and slow, so I did this mostly while at work! Yay!
It's inspired by Arches National Park in Utah
I'm reading "The Shaver Mystery" and a 1931 "The Shadow" novel called "Gangdom's Doom"

What techniques are you using to paint these?
IIRC you used to make some cool collages / mixed art, but this seems more like traditional painting. It has some nice "pulp book cover" vibe to it.

Thank you, dear buddy! I went through a couple of different digital painting methods here, tons of layering and a lot of references. I did a lot with the smudge tool and layers of extra strokes to make it feel more painty
