Thank you, buddy! I love the late H.R. Giger and I tried for a long time to
try and capture the same vibe as him! I like Alien and Alien 3
best since Giger actually worked on those

Yes, really. Of course it's good to be critical of such things. Where to draw the line of 'too much influence', that's a tough call. Right now I'm working on a drawing that has such a strong Beksinski vibe, it makes me feel filthy But dammit, I'm finishing it anyway. I think if it really bothers you, make an effort to try something different... the important part is staying honest to oneself. I don't think you should worry about it

I have a couple different artists who are strong influences on
me (some are almost opposite forces) so it might balance
out, but I still feel like the little copycat sometimes.

ha ha!  he should get a fake fu manchu beard. he must have a lotta lotta wands then!

you're welcome, it's impressive. deep dark places can be really cool and profound. 

glue painting is one of my favorite inventions. it's just wild experimentation with everything i can think of to use with a common theme of glue and paint of some sort. i loved doing it, it was quite exciting to do those series (i really like doing series). it played itself out though and i don't do it anymore. it's been explored enough. i hate repeating myself.

silk robes would be lovely, lots of flowing fabric. 

i wander around all the time.

omg! nat'l geos are fab!i have a subscription to the paper one even these days. can't beat those slick shiny pages. that's how i got into body modification-looking at native peoples in national geographic. 

oh the photographs!  i was really into space and sci fi when i was a kid. i loved to see the beautiful pictures of things in space in the magazines, all the maps! i used to hang them on my bedroom walls.

sorry  that i bailed so early with out saying goodnight. when i started talking about my life and being all down and annoying, i got  very sad. that's  one thing to know about me. the bipolar mood swings really are really difficult for me and other people. so if i change a lot quickly or just disappear, just know for sure it's  not you, it's the disease.

hi buddy! i got sad last night and went to bed. would you like me to tell you when i'm going to disappear? i don't mind.

i try hard to look at the big picture sometimes. i have my dad, peter and mackie, and my online friends of course!! we're financially stable. i live in nor cal! i have a good education. i have art, and that wasn't true (at least not on a remotely regular way). i can create and it is a great outlet. 

with the cpap machine i'm finally getting some rest. thanksgiving is coming up! my favorite holiday. my dad will be here. etc.!

All my siblings are younger My sister is a little
treasure, adopted from Korea. She was like the cutest
baby in the world
The extended family is on the other coast, so we don't
see them that often. When I was growing up we had
an aunt living in Las Vegas and we'd all go out there
for Thanksgiving and Easter
