Despite being a pretty powerful character, and a key one for many years, I had never completed a reference sheet for Crystale. About 6 years after her original creation she finally has a ref sheet.

There is not much I can say about Crystale without spoiling too much, but here are a few things :

★ Crystale was born on Earth as an human, she became Crystale upon being transferred to a place outside of dimensions by Gods. Beforehand her name was Claire, she was a pale girl with platinum blonde hair and pupiless turquoise eyes.

★ Crystale has the ability to manage dimensions, her role is to make sure the greater order is not disturbed. It does not mean she stops all violence, rather it's a matter of keeping dimensions stable and following the orders of the Gods.

★ Crystale's essence is capable of containing dark energies, and she has been used to do so. She currently houses a lump of dark matter, as well as the negative energy being Nazo, yet she can hear and communicate with them. If she cries or gets angry she will die and release both of them, hence Crystale's attempts at a selfless, obedient and calm mindset. It's partially due to a fear of death that she refrains of being Claire to embrace the identity of Crystale, the diligent Lock of order, supposedly without a will of her own and with little emotions.

★ Yet Nazo caught Claire slipping in, and he's determined to make her come back to the surface. At the beginning he wished to find a way to upset Crystale to make her die, but he eventually got a sense that Claire was just as trapped as him, so he wishes to at least let her be herself, if not to escape with her. In his own words he hates Crystale (which he derogatorily calls "Empty Happy"), but he loves Claire (not necessarily in a romantic sense).

Wow this was super tedious to complete. I'm not used to working with transparency and I hate recoloring lines so it was a pretty demotivating process. Plus turning the art into an actual reference sheet was tedious, especially since Publisher got incredibly laggy in the end, and I'm not even fully satisfied with the current result, but I needed to get something out so here you go.
