Description
Just some guidelines for someone who needed the help.If you ever need help with your artworks, feel free to post them at my Cartoon Clinic: [link]
Artwork does not belong to me.
Only the blue guidelines do.
A few things to note: Head is too big compared to shoulders (no, really) So shoulders have been broadened.
The arms were too skinny and muscles looked flabby. Study the muscles more closely. Or better yet, try searching for a reference photo to examine the actual muscles.
You also need to practise more on hand drawing.
For the female (I'm guessing she's storm), her shoulders are too low. Also one arm has bulging muscles while the other's slim.
Her chest is also too low. Especially since she has her arms raised up.
As aforementioned, you need to practise hand postures more. It is not enough to say you have already studied it. When having problems with hands, look at your own. Either take a picture of your hands in the position you want it or just look at it. Then draw what you see.
Thats just a couple of things to take note of. I hope you found it helpful.

Thanks but the arms are to be up not one up and down. 0o He's doing a fist.
Well I did measure 3 heads over.
Yeah, I know I need to. I just got down with the main stuff then particular like hands and feet.
My hands only work for a few poses. Man's hands are bigger ^^

1) The circles for his hands don't mean his hands are flat out.
2) Unfortunately you made a drastic miscalculation. Which part of his head did u use to measure? According to the widest area of his head, if you did indeed measure 3 heads over, it would be the length of the guideline i have drawn for you.
3)You should try to work on everything at once. Instead of trying to create pictures on imagination, get real life photos so that you can practise the human anatomy at the same time.
4)Mens hands may be bigger, but they work on the same basis as womens. They have practically the same bones and muscles, just bigger. Like i said, if it doesn't work, place your camera on timer mode somewhere and take a picture. Look at a mirror. Get someone else to pose for you. The possibilities are endless.
5)Work on your attitude. It's good that you're looking for help but rebuking suggestions from others (I've seen what you reply to others who try to help you) and giving excuses is really not going to help you out.
I might be abit harsh here, but i hope this will help you in the long run.

Oh.
Well I used his head of the oval 3 spaces. 000
Uh, thanks but I have been doing my work
I know mens are bigger, but I want them up like a boxers not crossed over
Excuse me? That's really insulting. I think you need to work on your communication skills then. I never said for you work on your critiques. Rebuking? I'm not rebuking. And, I'm not giving excuses how I learn is blue lines. I've done what I can. Everyone learns differently. I KNOW myself more than you know me.

Calm down and take a look at what just happened. Firstly i gave you advice and look at your replies. It's either you didn't understand me, you may need to improve on your social skills.
I gave advice that as i said, might be harsh on the last point but they're all designed to help you. If i wished to be truly insulting i wouldn't have taken the time to help you out.
In fact, the whole paragraph on me being insulting and not knowing you is a rebuke in and of itself. I sincerely suggested that you could change your attitude. Be grateful instead of, well, ranting like you just did. Let me give you a few examples:
1) I pointed out that the head of your character was too big. You said you used 3 spaces. In which i replied and stated that you measured it correctly. And now u reply insiting that you did do it right, but it somehow turn out wrong.
2) I suggested you could use a camera to take a picture of your hands or get someone else to pose for you as reference when you draw. You replied with something that didn't really make alot of sense.
Remember, when you truly wish to draw something, one can go to any means necessary to achieve it. You shouldn't simply write it off as 'o, men have bigger hands' or if someone suggests that u can improve on the anatomy, u don't go 'i've been doing it! can't you see!?' Instead, work even more on that picture.
If, after this message you still think that i'm insulting you rather than helping you then i'm sorry that you couldn't understand my intentions.

1. Calm down? You insult me and think I'm to fluff it off. Now, because of my reply you are trying to reflect it on me.
How is saying I need to change my 'ttude' good? I am grateful.
Well, I did measure like I said. I didn't pull it out from my toe. I was not rebuking anything, just saying that I did what needed done. Foreshortening with his arms being closed through it off.
I have done camera stuff, but I'm not buff. If you want to draw a girl you don't get a guy as a model. My hands are way to skinny and I have drawn them many times. But they are only good for so far. I'd like to form hands some other way besides mirrors and other stuff. I can only print out so much refs without wasting my ink.
I have gone to means. I bought several art books, have taken classes. I'm in no way making any excuses. Improve on anatomy is not the same as 'you should learn to do it.'
Unless you've been given the same things said, you would not get it. It's negating all the work I've been doing. It's a cop out to say pratice anatomy. If I did not then I'd draw bobble-head stick people. I'm way past that. The point is HOW to improve not what to.
"Learn to draw people from the side or front" is better advice.
I wish your intentions were stated in a nicer way. It's kinda insulting to assume that I did no anatomy work or I did not measure. It's like saying 'Did you ever scribble before?"
I do appreciate your help. Just rubs people the wrong way when you have been working on art and not flippantly picking up a pencil and never looking to references. I have tons of gestures box style due to another helper for several months now. I do draw from stock and link it. But I have been drawing since I was a kid what I did see. (Cats, dogs horses etc)
And I am moving to parts now not the 'whole' body. Drawing a flat stiff 8 heads person is in the past. I'm trying to focus on other things like legs, feet and hands.
As you can see I'm not making excuses. If I did I'd never taken one single art class.
