Description My heart was always with you
It would stray from my chest
Taking long walks in your dreams,
And when the night was done
It would sleep in with your eyelashes

Lately though,

It's felt so lonely
Neglected
   Cold and empty

So I'll try to warm it in my own chest

Instead of loaning it out to you
I'll suffer and hold it in
And one day when you miss me enough
Maybe it will be yours again

Thank you. I try to portray as much genuine emotion as I can, and sometimes that can be a hard trick to master. It's good to know that sometimes I succeed.
