4B or 5B are enough for me if they're those stadtler whatever the hell brand, but the cheap ones never work! Not even 8B!!! I ran out though(lost them) so I've been drawing with ONLY a 2B 0.5mm mechanical pencil. Gets the job done :I

Teach you... I can tell you what I do if it helps(it's not a big thing).. I copy drawings(many drawings) and then try to create my own.

i can barely draw my own stuff. i can only draw something i see. and its not very good either. your stuff is awesome.

Copy images with different styles, different anime and then mix everything. Copy a drawing and then try to recreate it without seeing. This should help you.
