ROBBER FLY!
These are one of my favorite insects. They're violent little buggers but they're so cooool.
This is a great photo, and an interesting variation, most robber flies I've seen are usually more gray with black specks. This one is more brown/green

Y'know, the picture is lovely and all, but couldn't you add something more to your artist's comments? Like what the heck this thing is? I really want to know, but a lot of artists won't include anything more than the title or even just "." in their artist's comments, and that really peeves me. Do you have NOTHING to say about your work? Especially if it's so DD worthy, why can't you bring yourself to say anything other than the title?!
I'm sorry to rant at you about this, but I see this A LOT, and it pisses me off. I'm sorry you got the brunt of it, but you are just as guilty as the rest who do this. DD's shouldn't be given to artists who can't be bothered to tell us anything, ANYTHING about their work.
All that said, this IS a lovely picture. Good job.

I do not like too much to say, let people judge what they are. And I am not an artist but an ordinary person who likes photography. DD and even then is the rating of from another person, and I appreciate it. Thanks for your comment...

Great detail! Fantastic shot, I'm seriously thinking about buying that lens... I've its smaller sister, the 60 f/2.8, but it's not as tack sharp as the 100mm! Great detail, definitely a must favourite! Congratulations for the DD XD
