It was only a couple days before prom. Mark knew he wanted to go with Jack, but he was too nervous about what others would think.And who could blame him? He had always been a tad socially awkward. Something like this was huge. But screw it. This was his only chance to get with Jack. He had to ask before it was too late. But,what if it already was too late? No, no thoughts like that weren't going to lead to anything. The raven haired male had bit his lip gently. What if Jack rejected his proposal? In the past they had joked around about things of the manner but this was different. Mark stared at the brown haired male, studying his appearance. He had the bluest eyes. And his skin was perfect. Everything about Jack was perfect. Why would he want a dork like Mark?

Well, Mark had good qualities too! Though the ebony haired male felt they couldn't be compared to Jack's greatness.Sean was such a phenomenal person to be around. He shook his head.He had to concentrate on his goal. Maybe he could just wait until after school?? No, no, no, that under no circumstance would be acceptable. The raven haired male sighed. He had to do this. Even if Jack rejected his proposal, at least he had enough confidence to ask. "I can do this..." Mark whispered to himself repeatedly as he nervously walked up to his best friend. He could feel his hands start to shake. And his face was as red as a cherry.

He carefully placed his hand on Jack's shoulder to grab the Irish mans attention.After all the other male was in the middle of a conversation with Felix. It'd be rude of him to interrupt. The brunette flinched at the touch, startled by the sudden touch. His eyes seemed to brighten up at the sight of Mark. Jack quickly spun around, giving Mark a tight squeeze. He had always greeted him that way. And Mark absolutely adored it. Jack's hugs were always so warm and sincere. It was like hugging the sun. After Jack finally ended the tight squeeze, the raven haired male cleared his throat. "H-Hey J-Jack?" he began, looking at the floor since he was to nervous to make eye contact with the brunette. "I was wondering.....If maybe....You'd go t-to prom with m-me?"

The foreigner felt his face heat up.Was Mark being genuine about this? Of course he was! Mark was one of the most sincere thoughtful people he knew. He'd never consider lying about something like this right? What was he talking about? This was Mark.He probably meant it in a friendship way.

"Of course man. Bros stick together right?" he had questioned earning a rather skeptical look from Felix. "Yeah......" Mark sighed. "Bros stick together." At this point Mark was distraught. Why would Jack think he just wanted to go as friends? Did he just not get it or was he not interested? No, no, no. These thoughts aren't helping. Mark had to stay strong...

Of course, the Irish man noticed this sudden change in demeanor.Had he said something wrong?? He had messed up? It hadn't been his intention to do so.

"I'm sorry Mark," he said with a wave of his hand. How could he be sorry if he wasn't sure what he did wrong?

Mark lifted his head, looking the brunette straight in his eyes. "You don't even know what you're apologising for do you?" he questioned, letting out a slight chuckle.

Sean felt his body stiffen. The other males gaze seemed to be so piercing and so unwelcoming. It was something that came off as foreign. For something like this never had been directed towards him.

"Mark..." The Irish man's voice was quiet not like his normal boisterous self. He wasn't sure how to approach this situation. "Relax." Mark replied in a soft sort of tone as he grabbed the other's hands. "I'm not going to kill you or anything..." he contined, giving a comforting smile. He didn't like Jack being so uneasy like he was now. It really upset him.

The bearded mans gaze focused on the pair of hands that interlocked with his own. He snorted lightly in a futile attempt to try to break the tension between those two.
"Nah I doubt you would," he agreed,"After all you wouldn't have a hair dye buddy without me around," he had joked lightly.

Mark giggled a wee bit squeezing Jack's hands. He couldn't take it anymore. He had to make the move. Leaning in close, Mark pressed his lips up against Jack's.

The Irish male's eyes widened in shock. Not that he minded this sudden turn of events. He pulled away after a while, a sheepish grin on his face.

Mark gave a smirk. "So..." he started to ask again, this time his voice filled with confidence. "You wanna go to prom with me Jack?"

"Of course ya goof," he answered with a small chuckle,"Though that first kiss could have been at prom," he had teased lighthly,"Then again I am a sexy Irish beast with much charm," he concluded with a wink.

The male let out yet another chuckle. He was so happy. But could you honestly blame him?? He had finally won Jack over. Now all that was left was to pick out outfits for the prom.
