agreeing on that. your submission exactly shows that unique state of dreaming for me. you can get "stuck in the motion" in dreams.. so - once more, congrats for your great entry!

Firstly, I appreciate your comment even if it's not on the one in my gallery. Just took me a while to realize that this image was getting comments. I wish I got these kinds of comments on the real one. lol.

The colors underwater are very... interesting. The chemicals in the pool, the diffusion of light, the colors of the tiles or background in the pool; these all effect the "real" colors. I had a very solid idea of what colors I wanted in these before we did the shoot. I just needed the inspiration of the LID contest to create a finished image. Thank you, those were the two things I thought made it as well.

Ethereal and dream-like were the original ideas behind doing a shoot under water. So when I saw the final choice for the contest theme, this set of images was a natural choice to revisit.

I didn't know I was getting comments on here, rather than the one in my own gallery. So I apologize for the lack of response.

Thank you. It was one of my first underwater shoots and many of the images did not come out as much of anything. I decided to keep nearly all of them tho, because I liked the effect... and the flow.

Thanks! I'm sorry I didn't realize I was getting comments.. this image is also in my gallery and that's the one that I get "messages" from.

I am a bit proud of it, but that's only because both the theme of the contest and the theme of these images is very personal to me. Water in dreams is like something sacred, it should be "listened to." It's like flying I guess. I rarely fly in my dreams, water however, is a near constant presence.
