Sasha and Zen are taking the opportunity at the Expo to enter the available clinics to further them along in their eventing training. Title is a nod to the to the soundtrack of this thing.

Going to inconspicuously add this to the Expo stack as it is embarrassingly late.. Might come back to fix it when I have the inspiration..

HARPG Expo - Clinics
Monday
  Clinic: Jumping with Catherine Volos
- Sasha and Zen worked on lots of gymnastic exercises with Cat to improve their rhythm, balance, form, and technique over simple jumps, giving them the right tools to conquer larger obstacles in the future.

Tuesday
  Clinic: "Schooling the young dressage horse" with Connor Gideon Goldenweiser
- Connor emphasized the importance of a strong foundation in dressage for young horses as they continue on in their lives. He particularly focused on relaxation, rhythmm, looseness and a building a correct contact in all three gaits. Sasha and Zen had some serious schooling on their flatwork and by the end of the clinic Connor's pointers helped them achieve more harmony and a relaxed yet focused foundation.
- About Zenanda: While Zenanda is a very easygoing mare, she is quite the powerhouse when asked - Sasha could use some help with remaining effective with her aids while following Zen's movement with her seat. Zen is also a bit stiff to her right side, so some suppling exercises could help her relax into the turns when trotting and cantering.

Friday
  Clinic: Humble beginnings of eventing" with Collin Hayes
- Collin taught the girls the basics of cross country, and also introduce them to water. Zen seemed to really enjoy being outside of the arena for a change, and took the lessons in stride.
