Description

So I've been cleaning my PC and came across some old art and I wanted to upload some! Roughly 4 years ago I designed my own fakemon starters, but I never uploaded them because I felt like I could do better. The lines were too thick and the colors were saturated and the designs were more.. digimon-esque than pokemon-esque.

Eventually I did redesign some of them, but were still unhappy with them, so I never got to upload them until now.
I'll link the redesigns below:

Fire starter redesign (Just updated the art, really).
Water starter redesign (actual redesign haha).
Never got round to redesigning the grass starters. Rip.

In regards to the names;
Seedubble = Seed + Rubble
Infernya = Inferno + nya
Kuranoko = Kurage(jellyfish in japanese) + On'nanoko (girl in Japanese)

Sproroot = Sprout + Root
Incinerawr(Yes, I came up with it before pokemon Sun and Moon :,D) = Incinerate + rawr
Mahouna = Maho (magic in japanese) + Onna (woman in Japanese. Later I larned it's a more formal/rude way of addressing a woman. Oops)

Ascentree = Ascend + tree
Caerie = Cat + Faerie
Henshojo = Henshi (Transform in Japanese) + Shojo (Girl in Japanese/ anime genre aimed at girls).

The theme of the water starter was meant to be magical girl, in case you haven't caught on yet. :,D
