Decided to try something different today. I'm quite proud of the eye and mane, but the body is a bit eh... dunno how to draw fur ;u;

I would try to go a bit bigger with tufts of fur at key places the chest the hooves just a few jagged points to get across the point "Yes this is a white horsey and it is covered in fur." That's just my two cents I don't keep track of the dates on any of the pictures I look at so you may well have fixed it already. x3

Thats... magnificent. The fur looks extremely flat, similar to how my cat Boo-Boo looks and thats about how I always imagined Mage looking so this fit my vision of a more detailed Mage perfectly. This looks amazing and well executed, great job Mage

My cats hair isn't foofy, its straight so it lays on him and makes him look sleek and his coat has a bit of a sheen to it. Thats why I made the comparison. Oh, and your welcome!

Indeed it is... I don't see how this is a good example of fur, though? It's a lovely piece of art, but the pony seems to be covered in scales for the most part. Parts where fur can be seen is attributed to the person's style and does not translate into mine. The coloring is also quite flat, relying on the outlines to indicate the existence of fur whereas my drawing has no outlines to speak of. Again, it's a lovely drawing, but I wouldn't call it a good example
