Description

When I was younger I had the habit of taking a show I like then drawing my own protagonists for the given setting. I haven't done that in a long while, but I felt like I should give it one more go for MLP:FIM Here you have 'My Main 6'. information on the characters bellow. From Left to right:

Nut Job:

Nut job works in a family owned business of fixing things, mostly home appliances, like ovens and such. She enjoys messing around and tinkering with other, less commonly seen creations, such as industrial sized hair dryers. She also enjoys building things from scratch as well, that activity being how she earned her cutie mark.
Nuts is a tough lass, crude in her language and a bit forward with her emotions. Nuts tends to be intimidating to most ponies who approach her. She learned such manners from her father and older sibling, leaving her younger sister being the one who attends to the customers, since if she were to run the place, they'd soon be out of business.
Despite having a nickname 'Nuts', Nut Job is actually a very reasonable pony that can be quite empathetic towards others. In one word I'd describe her as 'misunderstood' and if I'd have to give her an element of harmony, it'd be kindness.

Star Joy:

Star Joy is a friendly pony who wishes to become a world renown entertainer. Right now she's a town renowned babysitter and a go-to mare if you want someone entertaining in a party. She's social and fun loving, kind and sweet, Star Joy never has anything bad to say about anyone... except herself. Even though she's quite good at doing stunts and pulling tricks, Star lacks confidence in herself to try out for any big roles in any entertainment events. She keeps saying to herself that her current life is good enough and she'll eventually go for her dream when she feels ready, but at the same time she fears she might never be ready. Putting on a brave face and a bright smile, Star Joy would earn the element of Laughter, if any.

NewsFlash:

Newsflash is an odd, but not an unpleasant mare. It's easy to excite her and get her talking, but she can fall silent and bored just as easily. NewsFlash works at the local paper, writing articles about local good news. The mare has the makings to be a popular article writer, as her enthusiasm and chipper attitude always puts a smile on a readers face, but News has a moral code she follows and straight out refuses to lie or in any way alter the truth. She will not make her articles more exiting by adding non existent drama and she prefers to write about happy things that happen, rather than disasters. She's become a reliable source of something pleasant in the paper, and that honor is something she cherishes greatly. Sadly, happy things don't make first pages, but Newsflash is content with her steady job and doesn't feel like she needs more in life. With such a passion to tell things the way they are, I'd say Newsflash would get the element of honesty, if one at all.

MortarBoard:

This pony is a teacher that loves her job greatly. She's always willing to lend a hoof to any struggling students and tries her best to help out whenever she can. This dedication to her job is costly, as she doesn't have much free time to herself. She never refuses to read over a student's work that wasn't a mandatory assignment or spend an additional hour with them after school, even if she doesn't get paid extra for that. Her motivation comes from her pure desire to make every pony successful and teach them all she can so they would be ready for most anything, something she herself wished for when young. Most of her filly life, MortarBoard had to be home schooled or teach herself, by borrowing books from the library, sneaking into some lectures and proudly attending the free ones. Her life never let her get anything without some struggle, but that didn't make her big heart shrink. With not much else to give, MortarBoard is always willing to spare some of her precious time to those who need it, and that's why I think Generosity would be her element.

Lobelia:

Lobelia comes from the rather wealthy Sage family, a proud pure unicorn line that has cemented it's place in the society's cream. During the day, Lobelia is studying dancing and acting, as that is what her family wishes for a pony as graceful as her to do. They believe it is in her best interest to pursue a visual art and become famous, raising the renown of her family's name even more. Lobelia, however, cares not to show off her pretty face or pretty moves and would rather delve deep into the fascinating world of literature. She loves writing with great passion and has published a book already, but under a pen name, as her family believes that writing is not a worthy enough occupation for one such as her. Hiding away in a dark corner, writing about things never to happen is a great waste in her family's eyes, so she'd rather keep her true passion a secret while following the wishes of her parents. This dual life is straining on her personality, causing Lobelia to become one bitter pony. She drives most ponies away with her snark and foul attitude, unless her family specifically states that she needs to be nice to some pony. For her struggles and sacrifice to keep her family happy, but still managing to follow her own heart, I'd say Lobelia deserves the element of loyalty.

Glitz Gloss:

Glitz is a pony who does not care for furthering her studies in magic and would rather occupy herself with looking into trends, fashionable accessories and the most popular ponies. She loves the life of glamour, but being born in a simple household might make it difficult for her to have one. She's a bit of a troublesome and an anti-social pony that would rather spend her time reading 'what's hot' articles than hanging out with other ponies and have simple fun. Glitz has a good head on her shoulders and can be a pleasant pony to be with, but she's so focused on 'getting there' that she doesn't see all the good things she already has and can have with little effort. Her magic talent is probably the biggest waste, as she doesn't care for learning new spells, believing she already knows everything she needs and she should just focus on how to become a star. If she were to stop and learn more about herself, Glitz would earn the 'Magic' element.

I'm thinking of maybe writing a story with these gals or maybe even a comic one day... No promises, though!
