Info I got for him so far;

A wind/Sky entity of sorts that inhabits the clouds and the ethereal plane. Due to an unfortunate event, Rai ends up crashing down into the material world, breaking his wing, making it so that he cannot return home.
His presence robs the area of it's warmth, thus he cannot stay in one place for too long, else the place will suffer severe frostbite. He cannot stop this power, as heat is what sustains him in the mortal realm, thus stopping it would mean certain death. His heat-engulfing powers work on humans and animals too (though it affects animals much less severely), so he limits his contact with any creature of flesh as to not cause them harm. Vindir is not fond of humans. He had received help from them once because he was mistaken for an angel, but since then, most were unwelcoming at best and outright hostile at worst. Rai has enough power to take down any human, but being a non-hostile entity, he prefers avoiding conflict altogether, rather than having to deal with it. He spends most of his time in forests and fields, preferably in warm, sunny areas. Animals do not seem to mind his presence and will often allow him to spend a night near them to keep warm.
Rai Vindir just wants to go home.
