Description
Most time intensive part was getting the material settings right to make a beach water effect. That and the 1km x 1km planes for the ocean and sea bottom probably slowed down the render a little.Edit: Toes fixed and nails shortened a little.

Lara Croft has been sexy symbol even since she had her first game and since then there has been many failed attempt to do her justice showing her sexuality. I have seen many art works in the past but none as stunning as this. Her body proportions and body pose is great. Sexy. Feminine. The breasts are not too big. The water looks great and the sun is shining on her skin, there's even shadow. She is wearing big ear rings as well and lipstick that is the same color as her mini bikini and it all comes together perfectly. Her look. Her pose. The setting. The bikini. A very skillful and very sexy artwork vision of her. And of course - there is nothing negative to say about this. Flawless.

I have actually been tempted to revisit this one with some tricks I came up with for lighting when I did my last Mara Jade outdoor render.

What can I say? This is rendering at it's finest. You've done a great job at keeping the body glistening at balance. Enough to give Lara a gorgeous layer of shine, but not to much to distract from her lovely, delicate face. Blurring out the horizon was a brilliant idea as it also puts the right amount of focus on Lara. The transition of her legs going into the water looks flawless and detailed, I can almost picture myself standing in front of Ms. Croft in the shallow water!
You've perfect your Lara model, I can see that. She's got a good amount of muscularity, befitting for someone with her profession, and her hair looks amazing. If I'd have to give a token amount of critique; I'm not that enamoured by her nails and earrings. It doesn't really fit her character. It's not distracting or ugly, and in fact I think the earrings in particular blend in perfectly with the scene. But it wasn't necessary. She would've looked fine without them. But after all, it's your vision of the character. Overall, I'm in love with this render and it made me curious for your next projects!

You might have a point about the nails. I'm going to re-render it overnight to fix an issue with her feet. I'll probably shorten the nails a little then.

No problem. I think shortening the nails will also reduce polygons on the model, so it might speed up your rendering time a bit as well
