...in the next re-release/remake of Ocarina of time. /jokingInspired by a theory on why Navi left.
As for why Navi is talking to Twilight Princess Link at the end, remember how there is a fairy cursor that greatly resembles Navi in the game? It doesn't play a role in the story and never interacts with Link, but there could be another theory on why that is : P. Maybe it's Navi but, being a cursor, she can't contact Link...no matter how badly she wants to. Or it's simply a cursor (albeit a reference to Navi).

The Deku tree from that game died so this guy is a new one. If i remember right the one in Wind Waker mentions something about a deku tree before him so this is probably a different deku tree

its alright XD HonestlyΒ Ocarina of TimeΒ was the VERY FIRST Loz game i ever played and so i remember the journey (i took a full month on the tree temple...so...yea XD) but the deku tree has a newΒ seedling appear in the future so...maybe that seedling...is the father of the one in WW? I dont know :3 just seems like it to me

The Deku Tree in WW IS the sapling that grows in the Future that Never Was. It's kinda creepy, but the old Deku Tree that died is the whole of Forest Haven, the main island. It's just an enormous dead stump now. *sniff* Farewell, Deku Tree Sr. I shall miss thee...

That's super depressing. I much prefer the theory I came up with that after OOT, Navi realized how somewhat useless she was to Link by the end, kind of symbolized by her dialog in the final fight against Ganon, and left after the big time reversal, not believing that Link needed her anymore and not being of any help to him, which probably made her feel terrible compared to the pink fairies who healed him. They can do something about his injuries; all she can do is watch, which would torment her, or anyone for that matter, seeing a friend hurt and being unable to do anything about it. So, after the time reversal, Navi leaves, going deeper into the Lost Woods, feeling lost herself and wanting to find some way in which she can be useful to her friend, some way to help him, knowing the kind of good person he is, that he'll continue to try doing good, but all she could do is stand by and watch. This is why Link himself goes into the Lost Woods for MM, another fairy having seen her go in there, and Link going after his beloved friend.Β
Officially, this is about where things end for the hows and whys certain things happen. But I like to believe that, somehow, Navi becomes the Great Fairy encountered in the Cave of Ordeals, using her powers to draw the monsters there, being a protector in her own way, and keeping safe the smaller fairies, who are rarely seen in TP outside of the fountains here. This also creates an area where a new Hero of Hyrule can test their strength and measure how strong they are, something that would surely draw Link, his descendants, or people like him, wanting to find the monsters and eliminate them so they won't be a threat to the people around them. Thus giving her a purpose again in helping heroes like her Link, something she can really do, constantly, in a situation where she'd never be useless again, preventing her from feeling the way she did at the end of OOT. It would also honor Link by, as stated before, helping people like him, giving them a place where they can test their strength and even grow stronger while still keeping Hyrule safe.Β
That's just what I like to believe though.Β

Majora's Mask is now more depressing (considering on how Termina is based off the five stages of grief (and no, I don't mean the whole "Link is dead" b***s***, mind you (please pardon my language slip-up). I'm just saying that Navi is dead, and Link is going through the five stages during the game of Majora's Mask)

I think if I made a countdown on which Link gets the most rekt I'd put Toon Link at nΒ°2 and Young Link at nΒ°1. Why Young Link? Think about Zelda's quote before she sends Link back to their childhood, and think about Majora's Mask. IS THAT THE HAPPY CHILDHOOD YOU WERE WISHING I HAVE, ZELDA???

Both fairies change colors but only at certain occasions : purple for people, green for objects you can interact with (signs, etc) and yellow for hostile stuff like monsters, bosses, flying pots etc. Tatl's regular color is yellow.
