Really like this. Love how it shows the outward beauty of the shoes, but then also the roughness of the feet and hands, especially how the toes are taped and all. Very well put-together photo. Great job!

Your arches are incredible! I have really low arches, so I find it exceedingly difficult to get over on pointes. But yours, wow. What shoes are those?

You are most welcome! Ah I have Grishko, but I had to have the pro-flex ones because my arches are so bad. I actually stopped a while ago, nothing to do with the dance, but rather my teacher. She was, well, indescribable. She created so many problems for me, none of which were actually related to dance, it was just her trying to pick holes in others. So for example she accused me of doing many horrible things, and being a disruption in class, and being shockingly rude to her, and stuff like that. None of which was true, or which was very mildly true but taken completely out of context. And she just used to lie out of her arse to make me feel bad; she'd ring up my mum and spend hours telling my mum i'm such a horrible person and make my mum cry. When in fact all the things she was describing was everything that her daughter, who was in my class, was doing - being rude to the teacher, not doing any work, being stubborn, etc. And then she said I was being a problem in her class, and kicked me out "on a trial basis". She rung me up a few months later, mumbling apologies, saying that I clearly wasn't the problem, and I had been no trouble and pleading with me to go back. I didn't.
And I've just realised I've had a massive long rant there. Terribly sorry, honestly didn't mean to, guess I'm still somewhat infuriated by her, but don't worry about reading it all or anything. Aha, sorry!
