Strongly considering using these two in PMDA, but I haven't decided just yet.

Anyways, here's Emote the Espeon and Miriam the very adorable bab Absol.

Emote's a weird pokemon, even for a psychic which can do some pretty wonky mind stuffs. Their head got pretty messed up when they evolved and their emotions and sense of self (including gender and other orientations) got all screwed up. They experience a huge disconnect with their emotions and can't recognise them anymore, instead having to rely on their body's physical reactions and memory of their pre-evolved state to determine any emotional response. For the most part they are coping but still have trouble figuring out themself and how to interact with people. And as if that wasn't bad enough, or at least mildly irritating as far as Emote can tell, their psychic abilities manifest mostly autonomously and when they can manage to wrangle them under control are barely stronger than a Confusion attack on a good day.

They somehow seem to have ended up as the guardian of a young Absol and has had to adjust to that as well. If only out of a sense of obligation she is the main reason Emote gets up everyday and even bothers trying to interact with others. Luckily the little tyke seems to be taking her caretaker's quirks in stride and is growing up just fine.

Little babbu Miriam is a fluffy black and white ball of love and optimism. She adores her caretaker and refers to Emote as 'Mom' even though she doesn't quite have a grasp on how the Espeon identifies.

She's a cute kid, 'nuff said.
