Description
The first Autobots to arrive to Earth looking for the AllSpark in the Transformers movie continuality.I have already posted each character individually, but when I first started drawing them, this was what I wanted the final drawing to look like. I used photoshop to combine all the drawings (and also touched up several smudge marks). This is a digital rendering, but I originally drew each one with #2 pencils (.5mm lead and .7mm lead). EDIT on Nov. 6, 2009: Someone just faved this to a folder that they called their 'coloring book.' I just want to reiterate that no one has my permission to color my artwork. My artwork is not a coloring book. If I want them colored, I'll color them myself. Thank you.

Yea, these took forever. Ratchet alone took 12 hours X.X
Optimus only took 4. Ratchet and Ironhide were, by far, the ones with the most detail. If I had more time, I'd draw more of the movieverse 'formers. I'd love to draw Soundwave and Arcee/Chromia/Flareup one day, but I also know they are going to take a lot of time to do.

12 hours, oh slag O_O I did notice Ratchet and Ironhide have so much intricacy in their models, I had looked up the model stats at one point, forgot the exact number of polygons but I do remember it made my jaw drop, hell, the low-poly model I have of Ironhide is in the 100,000's even though I am getting a higher-detail version in the near future. The work that goes into them, just amazing!
Ummm, lemme stop havin' a 3D geekout over here XD. I want to do a traditional media Ironhide piece but, it's just daunting, ya got a hellova lotta respect from me for doing this, it's just, wow.

If I do it'll likely be partly stylized, cause all the detail, I am so out of practice with traditional media, ain't even funny, I would not be able to pull off the kinda detail you have.

I really want to draw Ironhide's left cannon. The detail of that thing is so fascinating to me. It looks like a jet engine. When I get the time (which may be awhile), I'm totally tackling that thing.

Both his cannons fascinate me, then again that might jus' be cause I'm a bit of a weapons fanatic. Man, the complexity in them though, his cannons alone hold about as much detail as some of the other autobots themselves.

I know, I had looked up how many polygons the models were, I forgot the number though but I do know they are detailed enough that it would take my computer over a week to render a single software render of a single model with nothing else in scene.
