This is yet another tutorial I made for the Young Rider Newsletter (November 2010, the last issue!) on the Young Rider forums. The issue is found here: [link]This is part 2 of my super-long step-by-step tutorial - 2 ways of cutting. I know there are a bajillion out there, but I wanted to make my own since I have two ways combined in one. Learning these two ways in this order helped train me to cut neatly and carefully.

Vision – 5/5
You had an idea, stuck with it, and really showed a skill in its execution. I didn't get lost in this tutorial, it was easy to follow, and it was well-laid out. It really shows that you took time on it and thought through it before ever attempting to piece it together.
Originality – 3/5
Not really "fresh" or "new." As tutorials go, it is good, but it really doesn't stand out against the rest of them. I don't usually see this particular tutorial done with horses, so kudos there for finding a different model.
Technique – 4/5
The tutorial was very well thought out. It takes a certain amount of skill to follow a complex train of thought on paper. It takes even more skill to describe it so everyone can follow it. However, aside from the new type of model, there really isn't anything special about it. And the squigglies at the beginning kinda take away from it.
Impact – 4/5
While my mind is not "blown away," I am very impressed with the level of detail you were able to include in this. Also, the simplicity with which you express your ideas is something I would like to learn.
