Oddly, the tree and background make me think of Africa. Not sure how many owls live down in Africa, so that's probably a rather random place for me to think of. xD

The detail on the owl seems like it woulda been hard to do.

The tree is from Africa, but the owl is not I don't believed. :]
All watercolors, but the owl was colored pencils.
