I know, the title just poked me in the eyes one day and I was like "I must to read"...stayed up all night reading...it's kind of like a combination of Walking Dead and Handmaid's Tale.

Sounds like a cool combination, deep and meaningful zombies . I've downloaded a kindle sample of it so ill give it a go . Did I ever recommend Swan Song to you, it's by Robert Mccammon, it's post apocalyptic (no zombies) but lots of amazingness

You know I think I saw that come across the desk...hmm, actually, one of my coworkers loves post apocalyptic fiction too and I think she has it, I'll have to get that from her when she brings it back. Thanks for the recommend.

Finished forest of hands and teeth, really liked it I see why the picture reminded you of it now, just shows well need shovels and scythes as well

I thought i was a really nice book, good concept a bit like that film 'The Village' not that that's post apocalyptic, this is the third young adult book i've read this year and i must be young cos i like them all lol It reminded me a bit of the other two, the hunger games and insurgent but it had a nicer feel to it. I also recently read a book called The Snow Child and it sort of reminded me of that but i cant think why, just a bit of a magical mystery i guess.....I haven't done world war z yet, must get on or i'll have no idea how to make my armour

Yeah, it reminded me of The Village too...I loved that...and Lady in the Water...have you seen that one?? I love M Knight Shamalalalamanakljsndfklj...definitely one of my favorite directors and screenwriters. For awhile, a couple of years ago, that's all I was reading...now I just can't...not sure why...but I do want to finish the 2nd and 3rd book in the HG series. Hmmm, I'll have to look into Snow Child.

No not seen that one, only seen sixth sense and signs by him I think, is it good? I really liked the hunger games but it sort of felt like a guilty pleasure, bit too easy reading but quite gripping none the less. The snow child was very strange and magical and bleak. . I'm going to finish the James Herbert book I'm reading then ill give WW Z a go

I love Lady in the Water...if you watch it you'll have to tell me what you think....it was billed as a horror flick, but it's not...fantasy, magical realism pretty much...sigh, so good. I hope you don't hate it...'cause then you'll be like, I can never trust her judgement again!!!!

Lol i thought the same thing about Swan Song, we have pretty similar tastes though so it should be fine I watched TWD last night and loved it this time, what was that prisoner like...psycho....was really pleased when he took him out....and the kid, hes going to be a tough cookie growing up in zombie land and what was that all about when she was practising caesarian's who's watching??? lol ooooooo its getting exciting again now lol owww i liked the bit where the zombie got his own handcuffs off lol genius!!!!

My favorite part is the slice in the head, 'cause it was so unexpected!!! I'm so over Lori...well, I haven't liked her character at all...and she's just as bad in the GN...but I'm liking this badass Rick though. Next episode...watched it last night...hmmmmm.

Yes the head slice was a cool moment I don't really like Lori either (what's GN, the actress was in prison break as well and i did't really like that character either, although i only watched the first series of that. Hmmmmmm??? lol not sure what to make of Hmmmmmmm.....oh well only 2 days to go

I think I'm gonna call Rick, Ol' Chop and Hatch. GN = Graphic Novel. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOved Prison Break...loved. I did like her character in PB, maybe that's why I hate her so much now. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

I looked it up...we don't have it at any of the over 20 libraries that we have in this area...can you believe it!!?? I'll see if I can find a copy online. I can't wait for you to see Walking Dead this week.

oh no that sucks, Robert Mccammon is soooo underrated......lol that good then? its on tomorrow night so not long to go, normally they stop yours for a couple of weeks so ours catches up before the finale so hopefully we'll get in synch....that's what they did with lost anyway 6 days till AHS
