Finally I managed to finish this picture.
Some of you might have seen my journal entry about the destroyed psd file. As I said I continued working on it with the jpg file I saved before the psd file was damaged. Thanks for your kind comments and help. *___*
It's strange to work without the layers I had before but it was easier then I thought first. In the journal post I really overreacted with my panic that everything was gone...
Never lose hope!

I love the dramatic pose and the construction of the image (especially the ice!) - it gives a very imposing image! The colours seem a bit 'flat' to me, also a bit dark, but I know that is the way you colour, and it must have been very difficult to do each scale, and from a jpg after you lost so much work.
I also think the dragon would be more central if the background blended a bit more - what I mean is that the clouds soften and merge with the mountainous background behind.. to me its a bit of a sharp change.
I think you have done a wonderful job, and I can see you are improving, so keep up the great work

Kann den anderen hier nur zustimmen, ist echt wunderschön geworden und äußerst Detailreich, von den Bergen bis hin zu ihren Schuppen einfach nur WOW !
Der Effekt mit dem aufgewirbelten Schnee mag ich besonders !

Freut mich, das es dir gefällt. Ich war damals auch positiv verwundert, das das so gut mit den Bergen funktioniert, bis dann meine Oma meinte, das sie es komisch findet, das hinter dem Drachen so hohe Wellen sind. xDD

Ja das kann schonma vorkommen hehe...
Das ich hin und wieder ältere Bilder Durchbläter bedeutet nicht gleich das ich wenig Online bin, nur bin ich hin und wieder ein wenig Commentfaul, da bleiben die Bilder solange in meiner Deviatonsliste bis ich mir mal die Zeit nehme und sie dann zu kommentieren.
Hast mich also gerade inflagranti erwischt könnte man sagen xD

Ein imposantes ausdrückliches drachenbild. Die pose ist wirklich etwas aussergewöhnlich. Die details sind wie immer erste sahne, sowie die coloration. Die berge hast du auch toll hinbekommen. Klasse arbeit. ^^

Auf dem Notebook ist es "Aeon", auf dem Desktop-PC nun das hier - mein neues Wallpaper. Echt klasse diese Detailfülle und ich finds cool, dass Du Dir immer interessante Posen ausdenkst.
Wie lange arbeitest Du eigentlich an so einem Bild hier? Auf einer JPEG Ebene wird man da ja wahnsinnig. o.O

Freut mich, das es dir so gut gefällt. Das mit dem jpeg war eigentlich gar nicht soo schlimm, war nu etwas ungewohnt, das das Bild bei wenigem zoom schon so unscharf wirkte. *ist total zoom vernarrt*
Was die Zeit angeht hab ich leider keine Ahnung, da ich viele Pausen immer wieder rein mache und oft tagelang nicht dran arbeite. Ich bin irgendwie längst nicht mehr so hypermotiviert wie in alten Tagen, wo das Tablet noch ein eher Unbekannter war.
