Such cool and vivid bright colors! I absolutely understand you liked making this. The colors are working nicely together and the cold blue is a nice contrast to the warm yellow with the lilac inbetween. Also i pretty much enjoy the membranes you did and the extra skin looking through the breastplates. Perfect lightning on the whole dragon!

Is the conversion to CMYK troublesome? Or just in general that the hues and gradients come out unsatisfyingly?

Unfortunately the conversion gave me a super unsatisfying result. I tried a quick photo print and the dragon comes out extremly dark and the details on the pink areas vanished completely. :/ I'll try to overwork it.. or it's not gonna be printed. ^^"

If you have a usual inkjet printer it may be that it already converts the colour space from sRGB to CMYK internally. If you then convert it in PS it'll be done twice. Since you still have the source file, it may be possible to turn on soft-proofing in PS (it previews the smaller colour-scale of CMYK) and then tune the intensity/contrast of your colours


Or just leave it at that hihi, but it would be nice! This would look quite cool on plexiglass
