Well, in my opinion, green spots are based on mold spots; yellow and brown are kinda a porcini mushroom's colors (it's based also on a mushroom) and that green of the body is just a good color for something slimy and gelatin-like (?) 
Btw, since concept isn't mine, if you want you can ask it to the original creator, , she will be happy to answer you!

Ehi there! I'll answer you :3 So, Basimold and Yeastie (his pre-evo) are based on the mold that grows in damp places. Basimold at first was based also on a basilisk. He in fact has 6 legs (and his name is a combination of basilisk and mold).
