Description Chinatown is notoriously skeevy in Edmonton. It's all crumbling away. You can get some brillian dim sum at all hours, though.

Camera: Nikon D200.
Lens: Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 AF-D.
Lighting: ambient.
Software: Colour adjustment in Lightroom 2.

This photograph reminds me of the
neighborhood that I grew up in-- distant
from the rest of the world, urban, decaying,
forgotten, breaking down and apart, businesses
were closing left and right, more and more homes
and apartments were found to be uninhabitable--
This photograph presents a very real fact about
the urban life, it's not all about downtown, tourism,
shopping, and its highlights, there is also a human
element to its outskirts, found in places such as
these.

I give this photograph five stars in all aspects,
because the meanings behind, truths within, and
artistic elements of this piece are all present and
are presented with excellence.

Your latest shots all very much speak to your 'trademark': Urban Obscure. Very solid work, dude.
