Description A seemingly-abandoned project Valiant that's been parked in the Ranch's parking lot for a month or so at least. It's robin's-egg blue where it isn't rusted or primer grey. There's an anti-theft bar on the steering wheel, oddly enough.

Camera: Nikon D200.
Lens: Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX.
Lighting: ambient.
Software: black and white and crop in Lightroom 2.

I wish I owned one of them. Such lovely little cars.

Ah, ye olde Valiant ... one of the cars doomed to failure due to tragically awful assembly

The funny thing about this particular decade of embarrassing engineering is that due to the short-lived nature of the vehicles produced, they wind up being some of the most collectible, owing to their self-inflicted rapid extinction.

I for one have always had a soft spot for such jalop-tastic junkwagons. Something about their unstable and disaster-prone nature makes me want to own one even more.

Hell yeah. Finish refinishing it, robin's egg blue. Blue weave tweed on the seats. Chev 350 under the hood. Four-speed manual. Mmmm.

I think it'd be a fun one to restore. Might turn into a mad Mopar fanatic, though, and that's bad news for everyone.

I like the angle and perspective.
