Description
Commission for of his character CERA. (zebesian.deviantart.com/art/CE… )Verrrrrrry fun drawing to say the least. I had a lot of freedom for this drawing so I was able to play around with prompts in my head and the main one I had while drawing this was the concept of the "Last Room". The details of the prompt changed a lot in my head as I continued drawing this but basically I wanted to capture destruction and express impending doom.

I know I already talked some about how much I like it, I think my excitement is clear here but- omg I could talk for days regardless. Please bear with me, my enthusiasm is just too much. It's leaking out and spilling everywhere. I love everything about it, I can't even think of a single thing you coulda done better. I knew that you were like -the- person to get to draw her and I've been waiting for so long now ha ha.
The busted up room really just goes miles towards adding more energy to her already hyper aggressive pose. You did such a good job framing her as the centerpiece too, the way the room and even the cracks in the floor encircle her. The tiny glimpse to the firestorm is so restrained, it's like the perfect amount. Enough so you know, "christ, shit is going dooown out there" but not enough that it pollutes the rest of the image or becomes a part of the focus. And the logo is so perfect, it fits the SA's crueler more cyberpunk aesthetic while still being a little on the cuter side than most of their regalia. Clearly it's the same face as on the robot but it isn't the face of a killer in the same way. You did say I could use that in the future, right? I forget.
And all of that is just the background! CERA has never looked so good, especially not in combat mode. I've always struggled getting her stupid weapons to look natural and you just got them looking more natural than could be. Like literally how could I not have ever though of just having them installed under the little wrist-lip there. It's such a fantastic small change that goes so far. Her pose is so aggro and she looks so alive for a machine, she's definitely giving of a mood. And you drew her with such weight, I'm an untrained artist I don't even know how to describe what I'm seeing but it's true. she looks like a 'living', moving being for the first time.
I guess what I'm saying is that I'm gonna die of happiness now. Thanks again, you are without a doubt the greatest.

Maaaan you make me speechless sometimes. Haha I'm really glad it resonated with you though. Whenever I've got to tackle a character that is part of an existing world/plot, the pressures always on. So I'm extremely happy that you're happy. o uo

Daaaamn. I think I just like the scene overall more than any one aspect of the picture, though the pose is pretty wicked in and of itself. Killer!
