Gosh I really like this one. *u* I always really love your robot designs. You capture this perfect mix of like, striking and simple and I really dig it. Like, I'm taken with how unique they look but I also really admire how they aren't overly complicated or anything. It's super neat. Good character design.

I was initially worried that she seemed kind of too simple looking but the more I worked on her, the more it made sense to me. I think I was mostly worried because berry's design was a mix of two artist's ideas, and redux was me playing off of berry's design so there was still a template to work off of. Buuuuuut nooooooow i'm left to create my own bots by myself. I mean not that I haven't before but to call as ocs, not so much. So anything that comes out now is probably just as much as a surprise to myself as it is to everyone else that sees it XD
I do know the general direction I want to go in, I just don't totally know how it'll turn out till I make them. So I'm still in that zone of unsureness..Like having the ideas but not implementing them yet. But everything that you've said is what I'm trying to go for so I'm really glad it worked out!

I think she's great! I understand what you mean though when you remove the norm things can feel iffy. I've done some designs based on other people's ideas but I've never really done a joint design. I remember when you did a bunch robots for like a daily thing and I think a lot of those were really good, so I think you have something down. c: I understand though that was last year but I still think they look great.
I always kind of felt like your characters had that really clean, pleasant aspect while still having a striking edge to them-- it's a kind of lightning I hope I can bottle if I ever decide to move forward with some of the more meaningful projects that are stuck in my unsureness zone as well. I'm a big believer in the power of good, strong, likeable character design and I think you're on the right path. Keep up the great work, as always!

Thanks! Most my main bots are battle oriented first and foremost but they have secondary roles as a front. For misty in particular, she is the face and model for a vineyard. Misty being a public figure, I wanted her design to look benign and familiar if at all possible. So I've made sure to find ways to hide things in plain sight, like her "hair" style and her bulky dress.

Awh thanks! That really means a lot to me. o uo Unlike my other bots, she does have different modes to her, so her appearance may alter slightly but this is her default neutral look.
