Sonic definitely. FF not so much- I didn't want to get involved because I was already obsessed with tons of other games. My social life would have been completely gone if I had started any FF games.

that's true XDD that's why I didnt have a social life when I was younger I dont regret it though. Once you see Aerith die, you dont regret playing the game... because after that you just want Sephiroth dead very dead.
and in FF8 you're torn between slapping some sense into Rinoa and hugging her to death. very death. lol

Gotcha. I tried playing FF7 but I don't even remember where I got to. I think the limited save points got to me. I do know enough about that game to know that Advent Children was an amazing movie though.

never saw advent children. I was always afraid to watch it cuz it was obvious milking by Square to get money, so I figured the graphics would be awesome but the plot would suck, the acting would suck, and the script would be terrible. I didnt want to see my fave characters raped. Like in "Dirge of Cerberus", which did come out after Advent Children (I think) but it helps prove the point... FF7 was milked so badly... I want to kill whoever came up with Kingdom Hearts just for messing with my FF the rest of teh game was fun from what little I got to play.

Understandable. I didn't see DOC, but AC really wasn't bad. Worth the watch if you can find it online. Yes, Square was clearly milking FF7, but hey, they'll take what they can get out of it at this point. I can just imagine if they do a remake...

I... I dont want to imagine a remake--I've been praying that they wont seriously... I was teh one person telling the fans not to sign the "Teen Titan revival" petition because I knew the writers would change everything we loved--and look, I was right I was the only fan NOT surprised when they revealed all the changes they were going to make to the new show. SquarEnix really flushed their talent down the drain when they merged companies. if they remake FF7, they'll ruin it... they're already ruining FF8 with a sequel movie that one still hurts... FF7 is better than FF8 but FF8 has a special place in my heart for catering to my inner child so well with the "fairy tale" formula. FF7 had more a "realistic tragedy" feel to it, which I also loved for helping me vent those painful "reality check" emotions when life really screws you over.

fans have been theorizing over whether or not they'll remake the game after Square made that short video of the beginning of FF7. I've been having nightmares since. I love the game so much, I dont want them to ruin it...

I agree. I'm with you on the whole 'leave classics as classics' idea (I didn't even know about Teen Titans... 0_o). Though I will admit OOT 3D on the 3DS wasn't bad because they didn't really change anything- they just made the graphics better AND gave you Master Quest in the same game (also different company). I approve of that. Otherwise, I'm with you. In terms of Kingdom Hearts that you mentioned before, I own 1 and 2, but I never even touched 2 because I got MAYBE 1/3 of the way through 1, had to stop, and then completely lost my place when I tried to go back. I probably need to start over (oy vay), but I don't have my PS2 available to me at the moment... It's all about making more money, and when the older generation talks about how much they love older games, the companies try to bring them back in the most horrible ways possible. Blegh...

I wish I had a PS2 at the moment I have a half-dead gamecube, an "on it's last leg" XBOX, an original nintendo DS (with an almost dead battery) and an ooooooooold GBA. It was one of the very first gameboyadvance units. by sheer luck it still works. I hate the rechargeable battery thing... I prefer being able to change them myself rather than having to send the whole unit to the company and pay all those extra fees for shipping/handling crap.

yeah, everyone's upset about the Titans. lots of people have just gotten fed up and are writing fanfictions meant to be their own version of a season 6. someone started a group that's supposed to be serious about making a season 6 and I agreed to manage the group, but I'm not sure about submitting my ideas to them... in my experience no one listens to my ideas and they always want to change things for the worse. I love when someone makes a good suggestion though. problem is, everyone thinks their idea is better. it may be best if I just dont make suggestions...

sorry I'm long winded sometimes... I'm trying to cut down.
