thank you! i usually do these sketches freehand. Β If i need specific reference i shoot alot of refs for my library that i use. Other options are shutterstock footage.

nope! thats the trick, to learn the technique to convey high frequency detail from far. Custom brushes can indicate texture that gives that hint. I have some other batch images in the gallery with more examples
