Description

The Divine, standing collectively at 2-0, were looking to collect more and more bonafide wins in Leviathan at a fast rate. With Fusilier mostly cheating to get those two wins, many fans feel that those victories should be voided. But to their chagrin, that’s not how Leviathan win-loss record worked. Yet in Elin’s mind, her wins were 100% bonafide and the haters are just hating. She loved this attention no matter how negative it was to her, Pegasus was in the spotlight and that’s what matters most to her. Except, the days started to pass prior to her recent victory and fans began to stop talking about it in droves on social media. Like a drug addict needing her next fix, she demanded Fusilier find and book her match IMMEDIATELY as a tag team! Fusilier as soon as possible reached out to the Leviathan booking and got the latest booking schedule to book for the closest match to date. The closest match to Pegasus’s liking was going to be hosted at a house show and will include local competitors as opponents. Not wanting to anger his master, Fusilier immediately put in for the show. Slotted for a 2v2 tag team match, the Divine just needed to wait and see who would accept this tag match. And they waited…And they waited… and they- didn’t know that their name had gone around that local community and many tag teams in the areas decided they weren’t going to risk a chance feeding those egos of the Divine. Dreading what Pegasus will do to him if he fails to book the two of them in a match, Fusilier called the booker again to see what other options he had. Getting a response that the match could be rescheduled as a 2v1 match, Fusilier jumped on that opportunity- albeit now an even lower chance anyone was going to take on this challenge, but what can the poor butler do at this point. But to Fusilier’s luck, someone did accept the bout against the Divine. But what kind of fighter would willingly accept a handicap match? Spoilers, a desperate one.

Cha’Risa Firefly, a beloved veteran of many, a fighter facing the twilight of her wrestling career, had nothing left to lose at this point. When Cha’Risa saw the match flier about facing the new duo tag team of the Divine in a handicap match, the veteran knew this might be her chance in turning things around for her career. Or this may be the biggest backfire of her career…

Day of the fight

Coming out to a decently sold-out house show, Cha’Risa came out to an adequate amount of fan cheer. A far better fan reaction compared to what the Divine received like last time, they unmercifully booed while coming out to their entrance. Yet, like before Pegasus paid no mind to these boos and more or less indulged in this attention. Elin made the fans in attendance even more enraged by laughing at them and calling them ‘cash cows’ without a care in the world. Hearing this, Cha’Risa knew it was her sole goal in this match to make this pompous wrestler pay for what she just said to the dear fans. But, Cha’Risa wouldn’t get that chance just yet as Fusilier came out to the ring to represent the Divine. Knowing that she would have to first get through this rich girl’s butler, Cha’Risa readied herself to show this house boy what a real veteran wrestler looked like.

Going against Fusilier, Cha’Risa showed him and fans alike some vintage offense with some flawless transitions from submission to submission and giving the poor butler a nice stretch. Although Cha’Risa had the majority of the offense against Fusilier, Pegasus had the last laugh in the end. Wearing each other down, the match could go arguably either way for Cha’Risa or Fusilier, but Pegasus quickly reminded the competitors that it was a 2 on 1 match. When the Firefly’s back was turned near the Divine’s corner, Pegasus reached over and pulled Cha’Risa over to the ropes. Turning Cha’Risa around, Elin would drape Cha’Risa’s neck on the top rope before pulling her down violently. Coughing immediately to her new rope burn to her neck, Cha’Risa was entirely caught off guard for Fusilier’s next attack. Fusilier used this distraction to initiate his finisher, a Hammerlock Lariat that he calls the ‘Tidy Up’! After hitting that new finisher, it was clear that Cha’Risa was out and Fusilier was going for the finisher, but…Pegasus didn’t want this glory to be shared. Calling over her butler, Pegasus demanded she to be tagged into the match. Fusilier wanted to argue the fact that he did pretty much the majority of the work and at least deserves the honor of pinning his foe. But Fusilier was a butler, wrestling was second in his priority, and listening to whatever his master was his top priority.

Begrudgingly tagging Pegasus in, Fusilier watched as Elin lifted the barely conscious Cha’Risa off the ground and prepared to show off her own finisher. Putting Cha’Risa’s head between her thighs, Pegasus lifted and dropped Cha’Risa in a Sunset Driver that Pegasus calls

‘The Taste of Royalty’. Pinning the obviously out Cha’Risa, Elin laughed to herself how easy this match was as the ref watched on and counted for the 1-2-3 victory for The Divine. This win for the tag team caused an uproar among fans as all were unanimously rooting for Cha’Risa to kick the Divine’s ass. Who will be able to take down this undefeated stable? Hopefully, some team soon as fans won’t be able to stomach another Divine win…
