Description

Following the tug of the stone, Shadow swims along the top of the waves, not enjoying the way the salt splashes in her ever-exposed eyes. It pulls down and off to the side, but reluctant to dive, she goes to the side. Until going down is the only way it pulls. Reluctant, she dives down.

Below, she finds a community of creatures at the sea floor. A small nurse shark and various species of fish swim amongst the deep kelp, and a number of other creatures she can sense but not see. Tubular eels hiding beneath the sand. Sand dollars, buried fish, and even some deep sea coral. In the center of it all, where the obsidian fragment seems to want to go, rests a lone walrus tusk, long abandoned.
