so in my little story idea i made up, sonic's village thing was destroyed by a robot. robotnik comes and fines sonic with the chaos emerald. he notices the damage sonic had done to his machines so he lies to him (much like he's done with knuckles) and makes sonic believe he is the good guy. so this is just the first meeting.Related content
