Reading your title and comments helps me understand the importance of the finger pointing out, but I just don't think it's asthetically pleasing the way you've framed it. More of a profile of the finger and snail would be better. But this shot does have great colors and detail. What's used for the background might I ask?

The snail was a really small one, because I have the shortest fingers you can imagine on a grown person (perfect for laptop-keyboards!)
