Actually, her inspiration was a mix of Abe, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. ^_^

She just struck me as being closer to Abe's design. Despite having similar plated scales, she looks a lot more streamlined than the Creature (who always put me in mind of a lionfish).

Gorgeous face! The minimal eyebrows and full blackened eyes add a great exotic feel to it. Is the tentacle dead? It looks it because of the limp end...if not, then perhaps have the tip wrap just under the boob?
