Hermione looks so damn cool with these scarrs (allthough I'm curious to how she got these, but well i'm sure you'll explain that in the comic ^^') and i really didn't recorgnize her befor i read your short notice ^^

Given that this is Hermione's last year in Hogwarts, and her hand didn't have this dripping problem in Trouble back in her fourth year after the Yule Ball, I'm guessing this is a very recent injury (self injury maybe?) but it's obviously that Hermione is further ashamed of her newest mutilation while dear Luna is saddened that more has happened to her beloved Hermione.
Outfit wise, I like the touch that Hermione wears a red shirt instead of a white blouse. Is this a personal choice or something else? I also find Hermione with short hair and an eye patch strangely attractive, despite her scarring and difference between her and Luna make them adorable.

Well, the intention was to have there be blood on Hermione's vest over her heart. But, blood on a black vest, a bit hard to see, plus it made the whole thing over emo. With Hermione distracting Luna while she's dying was a lil too morbid.
Yeah, I'm going to have it, that in Year 4, she's just going to be like "eff it, I'm going to wear what I want", and go to the black vest, and Gryffindor red blouse. I love my Hermione, I've used her design for personal stuff since I was a kid, it's kind of me self-projecting (and no, I don't have a patch or that much scarring).

Yeah, it would be too morbid for Hermione distracting Luna from her immanent death, though if she was bleeding from a heart wound there wouldn't be too much that Luna could do, given that Hermione's curse renders most healing magic useless or at least less effective (I'm guessing on that part). Kinda sad that Luna probably wouldn't realize what happened until it was too late and it would traumatize her when she finds the blood on the back of her blouse, telling her 'when' Hermione had been bleeding/dying. Obviously, Hermione survived this scene, but still.
So this Hermione is a bit more rebellious... I like that. She's probably set off by how everyone treats Harry during the Twi-Wizard, I'm sure, given that you said it's in fourth year she decided to do so. Harry would both be happy for some of the attention diverted away from his immediate person (he'd be by her by proxy anyways, along with Luna, who I'm guessing is the third member of the Trio) but he'd also be upset that she's drawing looks on herself. Fourth year is when, in my opinion, that Hermione and Harry get really close, with third being the second. I like that you have Hermione with Luna, but at least she'll never be with Ron. Harry would be her best guy friend in this one, right?
And I would hope not! I'd hate for anyone to go through that, but for you to actually feel the need to draw 'yourself' would be kinda depressing given how cute all your other works are.

Very intriguing. The artwork is beautiful, as always. But is Luna crying, and is Hermione's hand dripping blood?
Actually, the premise reminds me of a fanfic I read: "She [Hermione] would have been very pretty had it not been for the long scar which went from the left corner of her mouth up the side of her face to her hairline. Her brown hair was pulled back in a severe knot that looked to be all that contained it from bursting into a frizzy mess...She [Luna] reached up to put her hand over Hermione's and I took in their positioning...they were very, very close."

Yeah, my original intent was to add a wound to Hermione's chest (the heart region), but it seemed to be overdoing it.

Sure. Blissful Amnesia ([link] ), chapters 7 and 8. It's actually a Harry/Fleur fanfic, but there seem to be rather obvious hints of Luna/Hermione. unfortunately, it hasn't been updated since chapter 9 in more than a year.

Cool beans. Fleur's going to have a presence in Love in Wartime, albeit, my Veela are more akin to the folklore than Rowling's. (think harpies, with the ability to shift into pleasing human form)

Thanks. Yeah, the world is a bit darker, the Death Eaters are a bit more competent (albeit anything higher than the canon Scooby Doo level villainy is competency).
