This reminds me of a lab I had to do in my Anatomy and Physiology class.
Smelled weird...
It was very difficult distinguish structures because the preserving agents it was in turned all pretty much a monotone beige.

Yeah, I'd say it wasn't quite as rewarding as the cat dissection we had to do during the second semester.
It was kind of surreal... as these were the first things that I've dissected in my life. (Very interested in medicine.)

We never did a cat.. This sheep's brain is a friend of mine's. I've dissected a fetal pig and rat - both of which were quite rewarding for me. I'm not interested in medicine (though I wanted to be an ER nurse at one time) but I love dissections anyway
